Hong KONG Inn in Springfield

This was the worst chicken wings ever. Chicken wings were like baby chickens. They were dry as hell.

Every time I eat here I think about leaving a review for the exact same reason but every time I Talk myself out of it because I decided it’s not worth my time except for today. I love Hong Kong in and I have probably been eating the food for 10 years, and I have eaten at every location. I eat at this one Frequently just because it’s close to my work and every single time I come in here the food is good but the customer service is horrible. The cashiers are very rude, It’s practically a ritual That I walk in and say “how are you doing” and all they reply with is “for here or to go” and I can’t remember a time they said anything other than that. today is my last straw I won’t come to this location again. The food is delicious So if you don’t mind rude customer service then it’s a great place to eat, but I never walk in here and see if familiar face for a friendly face. The turnaround must be horrible And this is the only Quetion like this. All the other ones are wonderful

Love their General Tso chicken and always get the extra egg roll it's worth it!

Several locations in Springfield and they are all greatMoo goo gai pan and spicy chicken are my two favs.The egg rolls are outstanding and prices are cheap, especially for the large portions!Fast drive thru service every time here, too ! !

Great service, very quick. Also friendly . The food was great. We got the sweet and sour and the sesame chicken. Both where good.

This is the best cashew chicken place in town!! I 💘 this place so much. The food is fantastic. The prices are low. They have the best fried rice ever!! And the employees are the best people I have ever seen. Its a great place 2 dine in or 2 call ahead and go thru the drive thru to pick up.

First off, first and only place in America that doesn't do no veggies on a peppered steak plate. Both people I ate with had a horrible stomach aches and the staff appeared to have no knowledge of what was going on. A place that was once my wife's favorite, we shall never be returning again. Also after attempting to order with no veggies and they told me they could not, my plate had 12 pieces of steak and the rest was pure onion. Horrible experience. Don't even waste your time.

They are rude as can be you order one thing is that it,is that it,is that it...NO it's not I'll let you know when I'm done.And the chicken is never the same one time it's hard as a rock then the next time it all chewy like it's all fat.The one on Glenstone is definitely the way to go

Great food until u find hair in it, and when u ask for remake or refund you get accused by owner that its probably your own hair...WHAT wait a minute.. IM BALD.wow

went for lunch the other day while in town for event at fairgrounds. i gad orange chicken and overall all i enjoyed it. it did not come with broccoli like some places do, and that was disappointing. my friend had moo goo gai pan. it was nothing like any moo goo either one of us had ever seen or eaten. not the usual veggies and had a brown sauce. she left most of it and was pretty unhappy about it. that is usually a pretty standard dish. people were nice, service was fair. we asked if she had the right dish because we had never seen that way. they said it was how they did it.

I love the orange chicken. I always get a large order so I have enough for two meals. There prices are great and it comes to your table fast and fresh every time.

I found a hair in my rice. The employee that I told said to me, “but you kinda already ate it though “. The manager told me that it was probably mine despite the hair being very dark (I’m blond) and embedded in the chicken breading. I received a bowl of rice as compensation.

This is a staple on the NE side of Springfield. The food is great and fast. It's super consistent so you're never surprised and I'm always glad I chose to eat there even afterwards. The Orange Chicken is what keeps me coming back. #31 on the menu. You won't be disappointed.

Go here a lot. Reasonably priced food. Is really good for a "fast food" Chinese restaurant. 3 of us ate there for under $20 & brought home food we had left over too.

Large plate garlic chicken #22 on menu comes with rice delicious. Steamed pot stickers and fried chicken wings tasty sides. Wings no sauce crispy outside juicy inside. NOTE wings take likec10 mins to cook..

If you're looking for gooooood American style Chinese food, this is a great place to eat! The service is fast, the food is prepared when you order it, and very large portions. I recommend the cashew special, or pork lo mein!

Prices are very reasonable. General chicken has the right amount of kick. Tends to get busy which can slow service.

This Hong Kong Inn is consistently good and fast. Cashiers are almost always friendly, but there is a different worker every time. You can tell there is a high turn over.

A very good option for Chinese food in Springfield. Daily specials include sweet and sour chicken or Cashew Chicken for $4.85. I have never been dissapointed with their food and they are always quick to bring your food to your table or in the drive through. Lots of options and a great value for your money. Would not hesitate to bring family members or friends to try this place out. Good sized crab Rangoon and a healthy portion of food even for the daily special!

Got 2 person meal. Rice was missing. Paid extra for eggrolls, they were missing. 2 fortune cookies missing. AND they insinuated I was lying when I called to tell them of the missing items. The food isn't the problem---its good. But the people who work there shouldn't be in food service We'll never go here again.

We love their food but they have the worst customer service. Going through the drive thru they get your order wrong 3 times out of 5. I asked for steamed rice and they gave me fried rice. When I called the girl that answered told me it wasn't her job to make sure the order was right. They never make up for their mistakes. Guess we will be going to Rice House up the road from now on. Plus they deliver

The food here is good but don't ask about military discount. Counter staff became rude about me asking.

I have eat at this place several times the food is good but the customer service is really poor When you go through the drive-through they don't even tell you your amount They just grab your card and then pretty much throw your food out the window There is no have a good day. I was just there, & asked if there was sauce in the bag.. & all she did was not her head at me I talked to the owner and he says there's nothing wrong with his employees. They are nice and completely defended them. Instead of trying to take care of the matter in hand. He told me I need to come there for the food & Ignore the fact that his employees are being rude. Cause that's what he would do. I rather drive across town to get the same food and be around a pleasant people.

The WORST Chinese food I've ever had! The General Tso chicken tasted like soggy fried chicken soaked in soy sauce. The Wontons had a pea size amount of meat in a giant shell and apparently someone needs to tell them what Mongolian beef is because they obviously have no idea. I will never eat there again! $20 for a huge disappointment.

Went through drive thru they need a cashew plate that includes crab ragoons having to get them on the side made it expensive so I probably won't go back
